The hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices for rooms in good condition. The attention to detail is impressive, as the staff ensures that everything is well-maintained and clean. The location in a large area with many rooms provides a sense of privacy and tranquility. Additionally, the breakfast with hot food included is a fantastic perk for guests.
While all aspects of this hotel were satisfactory, there is always room for improvement in any establishment.

There was no one at the desk when I arrived, and I had to call out to get someone's attention. There is no elevator. Stairs to second floor had not been vacuumed recently. Carpet in room had burns in it. Mold in the bathroom.

The smell of the room was a horror. Bathroom was very dirty. Everything was over used. Time for a makeover.

On a slightly less terrible note, of this hotel was the fact that it was conveniently located near the special Olympics event in Hays. However, this was only because all the other hotels were fully booked. The large pool with a slide did make the kids happy, but the overall experience was ruined by the filthiness of the hallways and exterior of the building. The rooms themselves were mediocre but acceptable, but the lack of cleanliness in the common areas made it clear that they did not have enough cleaning staff or even a basic vacuum to maintain the place properly. I would not recommend staying at this hotel due to the overall awfulness of the experience.
Oh boy, where do I start? My stay at this hotel was a complete disaster.

Great pool area and slide for kids. Easy quick access highway and restaurants.
Took four attempts to get clean room.

The location was easy to find.
The room was too cold and the live music didn't stop until 1:00 A.M. I didn't get much sleep because it was too noisy.

the odor of body odor, algae, and moldy carpets permeated the entire building.
The hotel's cleanliness was subpar, with rat feces and stains on the walls and carpets.

The only thing we liked was the Dinner in the Grill, which was delicious, and our Waitress was Terrific....young and very pretty blond girl...her name is casie! She helped us choose what to eat, was right and very charming!!!!! The room and hotel was dirty, noisy and we'll never stay here again. Sincerely, Bonnie
The Hotel was Dirty, Room was Dirty, smelly...(spray to cover up smells!)...very complicated to find parking near our room...complicated to find our room...since it was inside a maze? The pool was full of screaming kids...I Would never go in that the next morning! Hard to lock the door. The breakfast was lousy...breakfast room was dirty. No chair for the desk...(we found one outside!) No Light on the desk! Bathroom too small. I could go on, but I prefer to forget this experience!

This Ramada had been renovated by enclosing a large space with a roof so that our room looked into the space. It was very gloomy and depssing- needs some lighting, interior design, maybe some indoor gardens?

We recently had a weekend getaway at a hotel located near the heart of the city. the hotel room was cozy and had all the essentials we needed. the staff was polite and accommodating, always willing to provide us with anything we needed during our stay. There were plenty of restaurants nearby serving a variety of cuisines to choose from. we loved the free WiFi and comfortable beds in the room.
The hotel seemed to have a bit of an ant problem that we couldn't ignore. We also noticed some outdated appliances in the room which could use an upgrade.

Good location in hays, friendly staff
I would not recomend this hotel to anyone. My two year old daughter and I, a 23 year old female were napping and two men came into our room with a key card. The deadbolt was not locked because it had been busted off the door who knows when. They apologised and left the room. When we went down they said they had no record of us ever being checked into the hotel yet they had charged me for two nights and we had already stayed one. The room they had us in was filthy, still had washcloths and soap in the shower from previous guests. Also it was incredibly loud because of a wedding going on down stairs, the dj was preparing for a wedding with blaring music untell 2 am that night, however we were unable to get a room away from the ballroom or on the first floor, and the hotel has no elevator. Very inconvienant when traveling alone with a baby. After the intrusion, however, we left the hotel and went to a diffrent hotel to stay the night somewhere safe and clean. They did refund the night we did not stay however, and the staff was as helpful as they could possibly be but I did notice while waiting in line for 20 min to check out that was not the only person there who had a complaint.

Room temperature did not go above 61 degrees and I booked a king bed and got two double beds. Room was terrible in appearance. When checking out only received 10% off our bill. Will never stay at a Ramada again and have informed family and friends to do the same.

The Ramada Hays Convention Center is in a very run-down condition. Plumbing and heating/air conditioning are poor. While the rooms were relatively clean, the commons areas (hallways, etc.) were very dirty.
